Game Thread Spurs (27-13) vs Bucks (17-23) (Thu 1/15/26) [7:00PM CST]

Nice. I like it. Kind of funny. Like KJ said, you head does feel cold the first time you do it. You have to get used to it at first for a bit.
I miss the feeling because of where I currently live, but there is something that feels really fantastic about stepping out with a freshly shaved head on a cold day. Same with the first time you shave your beard in awhile.

Shaolin Wemby activated. Quintuple Double loading.
Never really thought about it, but it does feel kind of good on a cold day.

Excited to see Vic and Keldon tonight. It feels like they mean business. TD used to shave his head every now and then, and when he did, he definitely meant business on the court when he used to do it.

Keldon wemby shaved head is a good team building thing I like it a lot. Castle and Harper’s hairstyles are too involved to have such a drastic change but I would’ve liked for Fox to have shared in on the fun

Taco Palenque gamechanger on set. What are the odds the concessions stand opens tonight if it is not meant to be a delicious omen of good?

Damn near 50% usage rate for a rookie and second year player for a 3rd seed. Mostly unheard of. Usually when that's the case you one of the worst teams in the league.
If those 2 can just spend the entire summer just shooting 3s, get up to 35+% each next yr we might be the damn favorites.

Steph is 17th in NBA in FTr (8th amongst non-Cs), 18th in Ast%, if he just ups the 3pt% and cuts the dumb TOs he's an all-NBA guy. Flaws are pretty glaring atm, but dude is a worker and just turned 21. We stacked!

Imagine you're a player who's losing his place in the rotation. You're being talked about in potential trades. You try to reassure yourself as best you can, and to attract attention, you invest in a pink hair coloring kit from Head & Rodman. A few days later, the team's star player decides... to go bald. Another player, who is well established in the rotation, does the same.

There's no better move to pull the chair out from under someone in trouble who was just trying to sit down. The power of small gestures. In Asian cultures, it is said that relationships are implicit. Everything is done through small gestures and acts of kindness. You “feel the atmosphere.” It is frowned upon to make explicit what is implied. In Asia, such a gesture would be implicitly perceived as a kick in the butt, an invitation to leave.

In the West, too, the implicit is important, and there is only one weapon to counter implicit gestures that are indelicate or could be perceived as such: humor (i.e., the explicit). I hope they laugh about it. Otherwise, the implicit can be painful and even break team chemistry.

We are not privy to the secrets of the gods, will see. My next article in the New York Times will be titled: “Shaolin, Ciaolin.”
