Game Thread Spurs (21-7) vs Thunder (25-3) (Tue 12/23/25) [7:30 PM CDT]

You think the reasons could (also) be beyond basketball?

Like a rift with Mitch or lack of professionalism/lateness etc?

It's weird to see, as if he's being punished for something

My guess is not to play him in the trash min to prevent further lowering of Sochan's stats for Trade purposes

:st-clap: I was only able to look at the box scores sporadically today. Really nice to get a 20 point win. Keldon, Steph and Barnes scoring, Fox and Harper not much with the scoring but with a combined 19 assists and 0 turnovers and Champ with the rebounding.

Cherry on top, Nuggets, Lakers, Rockets and Hawks lost their games.

OKC is kind of broken mentally right now. They won 17 in a row and looked unbeatable. Then we beat them in the NBA Cup game and now they’ve lost 3 out of their last 5.

It’s like us after we won 20 in a row in 2012, then went on to lose 4 straight (against OKC). You’re so used to winning, that when you finally lose again, you lose your sense of invincibility, your confidence.

:st-lol: no they aren't, they're starting to play the tougher teams in the league after feasting on bottom-dwellers the first part of the season. They're still the champs and the best team in the league, they just aren't the juggernaut a lot of people made them out to be. Said in the beginning of the season the Nuggets, Rockets, and Warriors (looking grim for the Dubs rn tho) could beat them in a series. Now we might be able to add the Spurs to the list; only thing(s) they lack are playoff experience and a legit starting PF to win it all tbh.
