Hawks are in a weird place - I think that they're a better team without Trae because they they're not as vulnerable defensively, but Risacher is way better with Trae than without. So if they trade Trae or minimize his role, they're essentially throwing the towel in on their recent #1 overall pick. But if they keep Trae, they have to make him a focal point because he's so heliocentric and bad playing off-ball, which is ultimately worse for the team.

Trae was on a 20 minutes restriction and Snyder used up all of those before the 4th quarter, which he sat.
Not sure if he'll play this one, but it does put a perspective on how great of a move using Wemby off the bench is because it's way more important to have him in the 4th quarter if needed.
And how coachable Wemby is, because a lot of modern day franchise players wouldn't want to come off the bench.

Indeed and this is why at the end I don't mind him being arrogant and saying he is the best etc... He is a team guy, he helps financially supporter orga, he follows MD recommendation, starts off the bench, plays 17 mn, plays even mourning his grandma. He is a very nice educated young man who just assumes totally the generational stuff and does not hide.
