Game Thread Spurs (12-5) @ Nuggets (13-4) (Fri 11/28/25) [8:30PM CDT]

AG being out helps but this looks like a game where Murray will go off and Jokic will be Jokic. Otherwise, contain everyone else. Hard to though with super Jokic bringing the best out of his teammates.

Shit. Castle would have really helped. Hopefully, Harper has a Harper game.

If no one had started a thread by the time I got up tomorrow, I would have taken another bullet. Good luck, LeBowen.

Thanks for the thread. I'm not often dreading a matchup but without Wemby I'm bracing myself for a beat down

Cam Johnson hasn't been great... thus he is who I am concerned about tomorrow.

And of course, Big Daddy Val lurks... always waiting to skull f us

What’s the timeline on Steph? Why do I have a feeling he’ll be out longer than Vic. It seems like we have less news on him.

I'm bad at describing shit and I don't remember what year they are from, but this team is full of young guys and some of them have a lil bit of flashiness to them, and I think it would be fun to see them in those super-duper hella extra-shimmery shiny silvery-white jerseys from around 15 years back. Does this description sound familiar? lol

yeah it was only a matter of time before Cam Johnson returns back to form. nobody plays worse with Jokic.

:st-flag: :st-flag: :st-flag:

Those were the Silver Sundays jerseys. Most people hate them, but I own authentics: 2 Tim’s, 1 DRob, and an Eric Williams, a guy who came over with Bonner from Toronto, and played out that season.

OK, doctor google helped me with the answer.
When it's all said and done, one team from each group will officially qualify for the NBA Cup playoffs. In addition, each conference will receive one “wild card” team. The wild card team is determined by whatever team has the best record in group play but didn't win their group.

Since both the Suns and the Thunder are currently 3-0 in Group A one of them will get the wild card. The winner of Memphis vs. Clippers might have a chance if they win in a blowout themselves and OKC blows out the Suns.
Thunder 3-0 +71
Suns 3-0 +35
Grizzlies 2-1 +9
Clippers 2-1 -15

So if the sum of points in a Grizzlies win and Thunder win is >26, the Grizzlies will advance. Clippers advance if the sum is >50 points.
