Game Thread Spurs (11-5) @ Trailblazers (8-10) (Wed 11/26/25) [9:00PM CDT]

Unfortunarely We gotta win in Denver to stay alive in the Cup . It is a big ask of this team without Wemby..Normally i don't care about it, but i would love for our end of bench guys to get a nice paycheck

If somehow, we can pull out the W……Castle and hopefully Victor will be there for the Cup.

Sheppard with 31 n 9 rbs to lead kd-less rox over gs...something castle couldn't do

Gotta say, I'm so thankful for BB and all the staff for making this message forum possible. These game threads are a lot of fun and the interactive grades threads are such a cool advanced feature for the site. Appreciate all the effort and just in the spirit of thanksgiving wanted to mention our new site and everyone who contributes crew and fans.

Yep great stuff. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

The goal this season is to make the playoffs tbh. Get that playoff experience so next season they can hopefully open their championship window.

Good win for the Spurs. Great job by Fox running the show and taking over at the end of the second quarter. I stated rebounding as key prior to the matchup and while we gave up some defensive rebounds, our guys really crashed the offensive boards and this was really needed to put this Portland team away. In the first half I really thought "are we losing to a team that starts Sidy Cissoko?" but while he starts he does not really have a prominent role and thankfully he did not make a three

Solid return by Harper - he did not reinjure himself and thats all that matters to me.

Now lets have at least a competitive game against Denver.

damn thats a great road win against a solid/tough team

Fox dominated and good to see Harper back and make an impact right away

Sochan yikes

Devin was Devin except he made tough shots tonight

Good game from Keldon and man what a great pickup, Luke Kornet, makes our defense servicable even without Wemby

De’Aaron’s night. Career high as a Spur. Even with a crappy start. Really gotta give him 100% of the credit for this win. 14 in the 4th as well, he created and secured the W for us.

A nice night for Vassell, as the ball was going in. My trepidation is that this doesn’t happen every night. But when it does, everything is roses and daffodils. He did play average (and if I dare say slightly above average) defense, so credit there.

Mature game from Mitch. Stopped playing the stinkers and doubled Avdija.

Julian got 5 stars from me. You look at his stat line, that’s what you want from your $3M role player: 12/11/2 on 50/40, 1TO 1 PF. Some clutch rebounds AGAIN.

Keldon with another impressive outing. I don’t wanna jinx anything, but at this point in the season it feels like his turning of the corner is more resolute and dependable than Devin. He’s really sharpening his blade in terms of how to maximize his physical advantages, and how he fits into the team gameplan. Good D too.

HB continues his “grown-ass man” year.

I originally had Luke at a 3 but bumped it to 4. Stat sheet isn’t great, but he really is doing the dirty work for us down low, tirelessly. Another tall task against Clingan and he battled well. His defense and rebounding seemed to get better as the game went on, and he played well in the 4th.

Dylan played pretty good given his first game back. There was a stretch in the 3rd he wasn’t picking up the ball while only PG out there, I was yelling at the TV. But perhaps by design from Mitch being his first game back, I dunno.

Kelly - take the damn shot.

Jeremy - be a goldfish…and good luck next game is all I can say.

Waters played badly, he better be ready to tear it up next time he sees the floor.

Fn Warriors treating our cup game like Game 7 only to come crashing back to earth. Smh.
Every team is playing like its game 7 against us (except Mavs lol)

Seems like there is always some wings/guards that will somehow score near or above 40s on us every game....

Cam Thomas, Trey Murphy, Curry, N. Alexander-Walker, Avdjia etc

yea i dont really care about the Cup also.. Look at the Bucks.. they won the cup last year but cant get through the first round
That shouldn’t even be your reason/example. Dame literally blew out his achilles and they lost to the team that made a crazy run to the finals AND had always been their kryptonite in the first place. They were already consistently losing to Indiana so it was just a bad matchup. Not saying Bucks would have made it to the finals but they lost to a team that had their number. If you’re a true competitor you should want to win everything. I hate that the Lakers/Lebron won the first Cup because that’s what made most people feel differently about it, knowing damn well if it was their team (or not Lakers/Lebron) that won they would have loved to win it.
