So you're saying there's a chance for another ass kicking at the hangs of Tingus.

3 out of our 4 most interesting players are out.

Constantly holding out players over minor discomfort probably isn’t going to age well for the NBA.

We don’t see NFL players missing multiple weeks for these kinds of minor issues.

I get the concept around the precaution but the league already has an issue with delivering their product to more eyes. This surely isn’t going to help.

the main cause for multiweek absence in NFL are high ankle sprains and hamstring issues

Have not seen much of the Hawks this season. Originally I had us win when both squads are full strength. With our injuries, I favored the Hawks but if Kristaps and Zacch are out as well it is anothr toss up.
Will I tune in into Hawks broadcast to listen to Nique (one of my all-time favorite players)? Probably not

I recall that somehow Spurs always play well against Hawks. Even Sochan had a 30+ points game against them in his rookie year IIRC lol

I think the best strategy is to fight fire with fire. Unleash DJG please

Going to be a tough game. Jalen Johnson is a monster, Daniels is playmaking and defending well and Okongwu will be a handful too. They have a good defense and it will take another good game from the Spurs veterans Fox, Barnes and the Vassell-Johnson-Sochan triumvirate for the good guys to have a chance.

Correct you are. Pop and the Spurs kinda created this whole mess for the NBA.

Gimme a shout out though. For years I've been telling my doctor my knee is fucked and he just looks at my blood tests and tells me I have arthritis and to take vitamin D and doesnt give me X-ray 😒 today I see a new doctor and he gives me an X-ray immediately and it confirmed my kneecap (patella) is in 2 pieces with a massive crack exactly where I say it feels like it's been splitting in half 🙄 I have a physical job in a hospital as an OR assistant.

Hopefully Spurs have better medical professionals than I've been seeing before today 😔 fuck

I won't say this is a must win game, but it would be really nice if we could win this one before going on the road without three fundamental players.

Suns, Blazers, Nuggets, Timberwolves on the road coming up and I'd be happy with even one win.
Then hopefully at least Harper and Castle are back for Grizzlies on December 2nd.

If Porzingis and Risacher don't play, we should be able to make it competitive, Hawks are doing well, but they're not that great.

This is a huge game for Sochan. The team is shorthanded and he's facing off against a solid array of wings. He needs to shoot 3's without hesitation and sink a couple, and keep Jalen Johnson in check (and/or Rischacher & Daniels). It's the role he *has* to fulfill in order to have a successful NBA career. Judgey levels will be bumped to 11 tonight.

Hawks rotation should be something like:
NAW/Daniels/Krejci/Johnson/Okongwu
Wallace/Kennard/Gueye
Snyder ran 8 man rotation against the Pistons.
They're lacking an actual point guard, hopefully we can pressure the ball enough to disrupt their offense and cause turnovers.

This.

Spurs need to stack wins with urgency. Last home game before 10 of 13 on road before Christmas. Even the home stops are one day layovers before heading out again. Could easily be dropping to .500 before the foundational youth core of Area 51.2 come back.

Fortunately, one stretch has the Pelicans, then the Wizards twice. Have to target those games.

Okongwu is the one who will kill us tonight, not Jalen. That’s my prediction
Averaging 25.3ppg over the past 4 games, 64% FG and 51% 3pt on 8 attempts.
Amazing shooting improvement, tbh.

3, 0, 13, 69, 148 is the number of 3pts he attempted each season.
Already at 69 this season.
Maybe it's not too late for Jeremy.

They’re in the east, causing people to overrate their 9-6 record. If they were in the West, those numbers are probably reversed..

Wow, that's crazy. Sorry to hear that. How long have you been working like that? You mentioned years (that freaking sucks). You were definitely showing toughness out there trying to push through that. One doctor that I used to go to (I'd still be going to him, but he's pretty expensive and I can't afford it anymore. He was great and I was real happy with him) said that a good doctor listens to his patients as he said (I can't remember the percentage/number he used), most of the time, they have an idea of what is wrong. He said he starts there, by listening to his patient, it usually saves him time having to look into other stuff first (it also can save the patient money). Of course patients can be wrong as there are some hypochondriacs out there that are way off, but not listening to your patient at all isn't the way to go he said. Just like you, turns out I was correct (it was backed up with tests he ran), as I had told him the few other doctors I went to before him wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. I hadn't actually gone to a doctor in 10+ years before that and I was almost put off by the previous ones completely, but luckily I tried one more time.

Wow. That kid is playing great. Weren't there a few people here (ST I mean) last season that wanted to trade for him?

As for the game, I'm hoping De'Aaron has a big game (40+) with solid contributions from everyone else. The reason I want him to have a big game is so that he can have some form before going into the road games as he's going to be the Spurs' best chance to win some of those games. The role players don't seem to step up as much in the road games (I hope they do), so I'd rather De'Aaron try getting into form and everyone else works off of him.

Last few games have seen OO drastically increase those 3 attempts. Bet ATL was glad to end the Cappela era
