growing up in an armenian family a lot of them swear by it too. its dumb. the way they'd do it at home is you get a small glass cup/jar, pul a small piece of paper in it, light it on fire, flip the cup over and place over desired area. creates a vacuum and you let the cup sit there for a bit then pop them off

imo its all nonsense

especially when they'd do so for sickness like a cold/flu instead of just purported muscle relief. might as well start bloodletting and using leeches if you are going to use it as actual medicine
