I figured he would very likely play game 4 given that he made the trip to Portland in the first place, but winning game 3 might have them reconsidering. i think he just wants to be with the team regardless of whether he's planning to play or not. dude wants to be there for his teammates during their first playoff appearance; i wouldn't want to stay home for any games either

After hearing Vasell comments today he just wants to be with the team and support them.

Of course if he doesn’t play and Portland responds then you go home for an extremely high-pressure game 5 you can’t afford to lose. So it’s a double edged sword to not play him. But you gotta do what’s best for him.
