Orlando and Philly need to get healthy soon tbh. Hawks are playing good ball, Landale and Okongwu is a much better front court than having to rely on china glass Porzingis playing every 5th game.

If the pick falls to the late teens it might be better off packaged in a trade this offseason.
I'd consider trading it for a future pick. So you'd rather trade it in a package to try and get someone else back with? That would be good too.

Not sure how much value next year's ATL pick has tbh, considering next year's draft is looking like the worst of this decade. Might be more valuable to the Spurs due to the Stepien rule.
besides the weakness of the draft, ATL is likely to get one of the top guys in this year's strong draft from the pelicans pick

For me personally I prefer drafting and developing players. Lots of interesting players in this draft. However if this team gets ousted in the first or second round it would make sense to trade it for a solid rotation player that fills an immediate need.

A solid 10 man rotation and are healthy. There’s a real chance the Hawks could move up to the 6th seed.

To think those Hawks’ picks could’ve been way more valuable if not for dumbass GM’s bailing them out of every dumb move they made.

The Pelicans trading Dyson for Denjonte, then giving them an unprotected first round pick to draft Queen. The Warriors taking Kristaps off their hands.

We better hope the Pelicans can start getting together by the end of the season.

The only value of the 27 pick is via trade. Even without NO gifting ATL a lotto pick, they were going to be able to avoid the lotto next year. This year is the year to cash in on a potential lotto pick. We just need the Bucks to stop messing around and for Charlotte to keep playing great basketball. 5 games might be too much for the Bucks to catch ATL though.

What rotation player do you realistically have in mind..? Genuinely curious.

Saddiq Bey would fit really well with this current Spurs team imo but he's about to turn 27 next month. I'm not trading a lottery pick for him.

Hachimura might end up cheaper than expected this upcoming summer especially if the Lakers get bounced early again.

He's terrible defensively on the perimeter but has the girth to adequately defend bigs like Joker/Sengun to let Wemby roam around a bit more. Plus he's a good shooter and will be an UFA after this season.

Does the team even want Wemby to roam? It seems their D philosophy is to put him on the worst shooter so he can stay as close to the paint as possible at all times.

I mean that's what I mean by roaming. Keeping Wemby away from guys like Jokic/Sengun so he can continue to help if needed. Can't do that if he's the on ball defender for that specific archetype of player.

Right on bro. I gotcha.

How does Doc Rivers remained employed in the NBA?
For all of Doc’s faults he’s an exceptionally charismatic guy. I bet he’s been able to talk himself in rooms he had no business being in. I don’t know if the Bucks are actually this bad or if this is Doc Rivers committing basketball terrorism again.

he's reasonable with his physical man to man defense but he provides nothing off-ball. and while his 3pt shooting numbers are good he tends to only taken wide open uncontested 3's as opposed to the variety of shots we see from devin and juju

Just a reminder, the Bucks were 30-13 when Adrian Griffin was fired... Doc has posted a 92-89 record since...

Doc must be one hell of a salesman

They'll finish 10th.... its a crap shoot after that..

I don't disagree. Just throwing him out there as a solution to what I think are some of the roster needs going forward, specifically a guy that can we stick on a Jokic/Sengun that isn't as slow footed as Kornet with the added shooting as a bonus. And more importantly, wouldn't cost a draft pick or an existing trade asset to acquire.
