Chicago has Giddey back -- he makes them tick. And the Bucks, have you seen who they play? One of the worst rosters I've ever seen.
 
Might have to readjust expectations to 12th pick as best case scenario (Charlotte and Clippers finish above Atlanta and Portland and Milwaukee drop off). Worst case may be 16th.

I’m just about ready to write Milwaukee off. Portland too due to Avdija health but they do have the easiest remaining schedule in the L.

Yes, with a swap with New Orleans (they get the worse of the 2, the other goes to Atlanta). Since New Orleans has been so bad, they can actually tank and keep their own pick.
 
Hawks have won 4 in a row now. They aren't going to tank so expect them in the play in at worst.

Hawks were always going to make the play-in tbh. Good news is they prolly won't get higher than 10th and should get obliterated by the Hornets or Magic.

u dont think they can pass miami,orlando or philly?There only a couple games behind them.

Nah, their schedule is about to get more difficult again. The Sixers, Heat, and Magic are also better than their records, just have had health issues. I think down the stretch they'll start playing at a better level. All three also play the Hawks at least one more time (Magic twice).

Portland is pretty much locked into the 10th seed. Luck from that position is the only thing that'll get them top 4. They're going to continue to be what they've been all season...

I agree Portland looks locked in at 10 in the west but there are teams in the east that they will want a worse record than to move up in the lottery. Last year they made a push to try to win and make the playoffs and fell short. That was likely questioned by management if it was the best strategy for Portland and they have been known in previous years to tank. Portland needs to land a top 4 pick franchise type player in this year's draft.

Giannis is said to be healthy. This week if he's not back would indicate they are not trying to win games.

after a relatively impressive february while shorthanded, the bucks have now dropped 3 straight. bucks get ATL today and also once more in 10 days. absolute must wins for them to have a shot at displacing ATL in the play-in

we know the hawks have a pretty easy schedule going forward, but the bucks are among the teams that have an even easier schedule (both by standard SOS calculators but also the craftednba model)

charlotte and ATL are currently tied, and while charlotte has a reltively difficult remaining SOS, they also have simply been a good team for a while now
