I don't know about you, but Wemby has come off like a soft baby complaining about 'muh sleep' last night and still following up with a stinker the next game.
The defensive impact is still otherworldly, but he is nowhere near the consistent offensive player to win MVP right now.

We'll see how the seeding shakes out closer to the end of the season - I'd rather Wemby get some games off if at all possible, he's been looking tired AF the past few games, and our schedule isn't all that easy the rest of the way.

Right now, the Suns are 7th seed and Warriors 8th -- I would much rather face Phoenix than the Dubs, so as it stands now, fuck the #1 seed, get the boy his rest. But that may all change in the next 10 games, standings are really close. Lakers and Minny are 3 losses ahead of Phoenix, seems unlikely that they'd fall below them, but anything can happen - I'd rather avoid Minny, but would LOVE to face the Fakers tbh. Wemby kicking the boot on LeBron and Luka would be a sight for the ages

he’s not playing huge minutes, had damn near a week off between games minus ASG, has played a pretty reasonable schedule post ASB with one tough team and one b2b. No sign of injury which would be the only way I’d sit him right now, a vague “he’s tired” isn’t good enough for a player of his level

Wemby is definitely still developing his offensive game, but I think another big aspect of it is this team is far better than anybody expected. We got players in multiple positions that are capable of putting up big games. He’s definitely being unselfish. Which we all should love. He’s not just trying to get his numbers every night like a Luka. No matter what that guy takes 20+ shots a game because he wants 30+ points. It’s a Instant showing of maturity that Wemby cares more about winning than anything else
