Why would we be big game hunting when we have all the pieces right here. They're just young. Assets should be pushed down the line so a potential dynasty could be built.

Seems like the time for big game hunting would have been at the deadline, holding a boatload of ending contracts. Those all go away.

I doubt they go after big names my guess is they trade for a PF we want someone like Santi Aldama a mobile PF what they call a connector who can shoot from range and play solid defense and try to resign Barnes on a more reasonable contract as a bench player

i dont see it. it seems the spurs were heavy in on the KD sweepstakes last summer. no real noise about us being interested in giannis at all.

"big game" is relative, though, and i could see them going after a legit rotation/role player that may cost more than just 2nds
