NBA 2025-26 NBA Thread

Not worthy of it's own thread because it is so obvious... but Spurs have officially picked up Wemby's 4th year option and Steph's 3rd year option, per Keith Smith

Fears is good IMO.

But it’s the thing of whether or not anyone that size can be a starter. It’s sort of weird…feels like the answer is flat out no because of impossible defensive limitations but you still have these guys getting picked in the first round. And lottery, sometimes.

I prefer a world where Dillingham and Fears can be viable starting guards. Those types of players are fun. But I just don’t see the point in giving them a try.

I thought they fired Doris Burke
Just for the finals. So I guess she’s B crew. We’ll be stuck with her for a lot more games. It’s just we won’t have to mute the TV as much in the playoffs. But this is good timing. I don’t need to hear her Wemby opinions when we start making deep runs.

Damn, Ivey already damaged goods.
I don’t know the extent of the surgery. Seems unclear but he’s only out a month. I think they can be patient with his return.

It wasn’t like a degenerative injury or anything. It was a freak accident.

I feel he can come back successfully and he was playing really well before the injury.

Reed Sheppard put up 29 pts, 6 rebs, 6 assists, 4 steals, & 3 blocks in 29 minutes while completely outplaying Trae Young today. Damn.

Myers was so bad on TV that it made you question his abilities as an executive. This is a mercy killing.

Bassey can't catch a break. We got him along with Champ and he's not been able to stick.

Bassey has no knees left, he's lucky he even got signed this summer.
I think he should give Europe a shot. If not, get the bag in Asia.

Grizzlies looking like a lottery team with all those injuries.
All three of their point guards are out for the opening night.
