NBA 2025-26 NBA Thread

Expecting a big fine for Jazz from Adam Silver..Most blatant tanking maneuvers in a while. Spurs tanked but we have never stooped to this level..

The only NBA record I’m confident I could beat, if given the opportunity

That's why the idea of changing the lottery odds to stop counting losses once a team is eliminated from playoff contention won't work. It just means the tanking teams will tank early instead of late. It won't stop tanking in general.

The Hornets blew out the Thunder in Oklahoma City though. They are a legitimate threat to bury an opponent on any given night.

Suns gonna get to the WCF tbh (to get skullfucked by the Thunder). Far better outcome than even the most homerish Suns fan could hope for.
The team still has major flaws but plays so damn hard and smartly on both ends it closes the gap. If Green can be an impact 6th Man this year, filling the lane on the break, hitting an open 3, defending with athleticism while not particularly gambling, it could push the Suns to 4th. They got slaughtered by Thunder once, lost close when Thunder were great, and beat the Thunder when whole. Would be interesting to see. Really hoping they can add some PF/C depth at the deadline. Just someone with a motor and some smarts for 10-15 minutes.

Jazz beat the Cavs in Cleveland. Pacers beat the Celtics. Kings beat the Lakers.

Sometimes the league is just weird, man.

Just based on the eye test the league's scoring seems to have slowed down the last month or so, I am just seeing more double digit scoring games but would have to do an analysis on it. There are also many more close games lately, not sure what is up.

LMAO at Brooks Offensive Foul last night! What even was that? How did he think he would get away with shooting, then strangling the arm of Wiggins and then yanking it down?

Still, as the long time punkee it’s nice to have a punker on the team.

But Jesus, dude. He’s a fellow Canadian, even!

It’s not you. Brown went off on the officiating since New Years and now there’s potential links to gambling trends.
