@rascalTurns out Reed Sheppard is good

Their rise is even more impressive considering how they dropped to #5 pick in the lottery for 3 straight years after getting Cade.Pistons are a fun team to watch. Non-stop ball pressure, lots of youth and energy.
Nice seeing teams like them (and us) make a leap after a few years in the gutter.
think the hawks are one of the few reasonable options.. other than that, it would take a pass first pg fanatic coach to make a trade this dumb.So who does LaMelo get traded too ?
I think their plan is pretty clear. But the Nets have no idea what they are doing with a rebuild
Didn’t the Nets reacquire all their rights from Houston in exchange for Suns 1sts, which is why Suns got traded their own #10 pick for Durant?I think their plan is pretty clear.
They're trying to get their franchise player in this year's draft, their cap situation is as good as it gets, Marks will reload next summer since Rockets have swap rights in '27.
Get a top3 pick with at least one of this season's rookies looking good and that's already an interesting project. Claxton is also under contract long-term.
They have control of their picks in '26, '28 and from '30 onwards.Didn’t the Nets reacquire all their rights from Houston in exchange for Suns 1sts, which is why Suns got traded their own #10 pick for Durant?
Ok. And then they have a bunch from New York and I think and random one from Philly from Harden trade, plus I think a random from another team. And they just drafted like 4 players. Man, I don’t know. They have control of their picks in '26, '28 and from '30 onwards.
'27 and '29 are still getting swapped out.

Adam Sandler was full of shit when he bitched about the owner possibly trading Embiid in Hustle lolEmbiid is the worst contract in the league, he's not healthy even when he plays. He's got no knees left.
He won't retire because he's not dumb to leave all the money on the table, but his days of being a contributor are done.
if by cracked the code you mean have the best roster in the league with a million incoming draft picks, then yeah i dont know why everybody else isnt cracking the same code!Exactly what I've been saying for a couple of years while some folks were confident that the new Cap Economics would catch up to OKC. The reality is, they may have just cracked the code...

the SGA trade kind of fell into their lap with PG/Kawhi forcing themselves as a package deal for the clippers.
but they have otherwise been shrewd not just with their drafting but sensibly extending solid role players to good deals, like Kenrich Williams, Isaiah Joe, Aaron Wiggins, Ajay Mitchell
they have had bum luck with sorber (and separately, Topic) who could easily become their I-Hart replacement, and they did well drafting ST favorite Cason Wallace as the Caruso replacement. they'll get a good pick this year and i imagine they will try to target a potential Dort replacement
You dismissed their process, and by the end of your post you spelled out the parts of it that make it work. It's not just about lucking into their main guy... that's how almost every team gets their main guy, the Spurs included (3x over for the franchise at this point). It's how you do everything else that sustains success... and that's what OKC is doing right. I hope Brian Wright is taking notes and applying his own spin to it, instead of thinking of ways to extend his middling roster pieces like Vassell and Sochan.if by cracked the code you mean have the best roster in the league with a million incoming draft picks, then yeah i dont know why everybody else isnt cracking the same code!
