There goes our easy finals matchup
Damn the Knicks chances of making the Finals just went way up..Apparently this is the play that caused the injury:
Have you seen the play? Looked like an innocuous bump..Really sucks for Detroit after an amazing season. Injury luck continues to be a major outcome determinant in this league. Doubt he will be 100 percent ready for the playoffs.Brutal for Detroit. Can’t plan for something like that.
As long as the celtics is on their path(2nd round matchup)its going to be hard for them.Damn the Knicks chances of making the Finals just went way up..
The east is so weird this year with all the freaking blowouts between the Celtics and the Pistons and the Knicks. There's just no telling what the hell is going to happen. The playoffs and the east are going to be wild.As long as the celtics is on their path(2nd round matchup)its going to be hard for them.
It's a poverty franchise, he played there for a decade and has been commentating their games for years. So don't get me wrong. I love Dell Curry. He was a player that I liked because just of who he was when he played. And he's been instrumental to the community and to the Hornets franchise.
But as a player, he doesn't really deserve to have his number retired. Does he?
Again, I'm so okay with it as just because he's such a good citizen. He's done so much for the game just by reproducing. He's done so much for the team. I'm just talking about strictly as contributions as a player.
Thug behavior from multiple ThunderAnother brawl today NBA Champagnie Williams from wizards thunder and Mitchell and Wallace of ok as while. I could see Mitchell getting more games since it spilled into the stands because of him
The natural starting point for 90% of fans is simple basic homerism. No one ever says, "we won the the game, but that was mostly because we got all of the calls from the refs, who were obviously calling the game in our favor." These fans are convinced the refs, or the league, or spirits from the universe are aligned against them. It's kind of the macho guy version of believing in astrology or fortune telling. "Don't talk about that one topic-- you'll jinx the team!"Again... who cares? The result was the same - a horrible team that lost 75% of its games. Why is the GM doing the tanking better than the coach doing the tanking? They're both tanking. You could make an argument that the way the Spurs did it is even more egregious - they put together a roster that was ONLY capable of tanking. At least Utah had a chance to be good, but when they weren't good enough they decided tanking was the way to go.
Spurs fans absolving themselves of tank guilt is hilarious (not to mention how we tanked for another year after getting Wemby to get Castle. Landing Harper was just lotto luck).
