Castle's contract will be up for renewal in the summer of 27 and he has a lot to improve to deserve it. At this moment I don't see Castle deserving more than 20-25 millions a year. Obviously, he still has 1.5 years to improveIf Castle and Harper prove to be 25% max extension worthy, that is.
It's obviously flipped. And yet they both have the ball in their right hand in the photo. Come on now.
Some more photos from the IG post:I read this as this is a gym that Fox has in his house in Houston? Does he live there in the off-season? Or this is the gym he "calls home"?
I love that it's painted with Spurs colors, one way or another.
Side note: Lindy's eye looks like it's still pretty jacked up from his previous surgery?
Yup he does have a lot of LMA in him tbh. Good thing Wemby is an alpha unlike NephewI know he can have some subpar games at times but can’t deny the guy is a perfect Spur character wise.
Time for the harsh truth: Save for the stretch without Wemby, Fox is overpaid for what he is now before even that albatross-looking extension kicks in..
A guard, in his prime, on that type of money who can't give you 20-pts a night in an era of basketball marked by offense inflation is a borderline negative asset.
Said it before, even a 30 year-old Aldridge was more consistently reliable than him when we got him..

We acquired a score-first lead guard, gave him a max, and then both changed his role and drastically reduced his usage. What we’re seeing is predictable.Time for the harsh truth: Save for the stretch without Wemby, Fox is overpaid for what he is now before even that albatross-looking extension kicks in..

too many excuses being made for Fox. he’s also a lazy rebounder and defender this year, which seems to be a team wide issue but it’s something you’d expect your max guy to lead by example & something that shouldn’t be impacted by how he’s used.We acquired a score-first lead guard, gave him a max, and then both changed his role and drastically reduced his usage. So, if this is how we planned on playing him, then acquiring him and then maxing him was a massive mistake. This is also what people should keep in mind when they talk about TMIII. There is no point in paying a big price to acquire thee borderline All-Star guys when all you’re going to do is neuter them.
Im here for the agenda tbhTime for the harsh truth: Save for the stretch without Wemby, Fox is overpaid for what he is now before even that albatross-looking extension kicks in..

Just like I wouldn’t chose you to write something sane and rational, I wouldn’t pick Fox to play the role we’re playing him in. It’s not an excuse, it’s a choice the Spurs made and it was a poor one. The list of players I would have acquired to play off-ball SG ahead of Fox is long. Why the Spurs chose this route, I do not know.too many excuses being made for Fox. he’s also a lazy rebounder and defender this year, which seems to be a team wide issue but it’s something you’d expect your max guy to lead by example.
this is why we shouldn’t get guys who entered their “prime” in a shit organizations. happened with LMA (beta, sulker) and derozan (muh mental health). you’ll never wash the loser stink off them.
Well that’s simply not true. Don’t just make up shit. He can get by defenders with ease. Unfortunately, shit coach has a non-offense in place that doesn’t take advantage of Fox’s abilities. Why is Fox playing off the ball? So fucking stupidPeople need to realize that Fox can't break down defenders anymore, and that's why he has to play off-ball. Anyone with length, he goes nowhere. It's aimless dribbling into a wall.
