Player The Layne Staley Depression-Laden Foxhole of De'Aaron Martez Fox

Credit where it's due, he's been playing great lately. Materializing into the consistent scoring, stabilizing figure the team needs at PG to make a deep and focused run.

Loved to see that with the game on the line, needing a score to keep the C's at bay, he quickly went for a PnR with Wemby, drew the defense inside with another screen, then made the right pass to the open Castle for 3. Game was won right then and there.

I wondered about the lack of such plays before, so I'm quite relieved to see it, for real. Bodes well for the playoffs - you need those "dry spell breakers", and just the gravity of Wemby rolling to the rim is your biggest asset there. Great, great stuff.

He was the closer last night against Boston. Reminded me of how the Spurs used to let Manu finish off teams in the last couple of minutes back in the '05 to '07 run.

You could give the ball to TD or Manu in the last two minutes of a game and have them win it for you. Maybe Fox can do the same for the Spurs.

What I love about Fox is that he’s willing to play off the young guys until it’s time to be THAT guy, so that someday, they can be THAT guy,

Didn't think it was that bad. He acknowledged he has to be better, but man, he really does have to be A LOT better at the line. If he had a similar amount to Bam's free throws, he wouldn't have come close to 83 with that free throw shooting
