Player The Layne Staley Depression-Laden Foxhole of De'Aaron Martez Fox

Fox's consistency, intensity and focus seem to be the issues in my eyes. Whatever happens this off-season, he needs to be putting in work to augment his game to be more effective. If that doesn't happen, I could see him offloaded by next year's trade deadline. Really frustrating and disappointing to see him flat-footed on defense at times and just disengaged. If there's a chance to trade him for a Dybantsa, Wilson or Boozer, the Spurs would really need to consider that. The matchup with Maxey tomorrow will likely be more demoralizing, too. It's one thing to have a bad game and it's another thing to just not sensing that he truly cares. Showing up when it matters is vital.

why would anyone trade Dybantsa, Wilson or Boozer for Fox?

Let's be real for a minute... even if someone would trade us a Top pick for Fox... the Spurs are going to be coming off being the #2 seed in the West and their first playoff run... they aren't going to dump their starting PG for a rookie, no matter how highly touted that rookie is. The team isn't going to just constantly reset the clock like that, it is unrealistic.

Fox won't be moved until Dylan has proved himself to be a Top 50 player or Fox has declined to where he no longer is one.

Y'all to obsessed with stat lines tbh. Fox doesn't have to average 20+ in this offense. And if he were y'all would be shitting on Devin because he doesn't average enough points, even though we have a top 10 offense in the NBA.

What's the stat both Sean and national broadcast teams talk about: eight Spurs averaging double digit points for the season. If they finish the season that way, will be first time in NBA history. As the Josh Allen Bills say, "Everybody eats!" Fox, et al. averaging a couple points less so the team can share success is a good thing.

While I mostly agree, I don’t think we can deny that when Fox and Wemby are on and leading the scoring while our other boys are filling in the roles, we look unstoppable. Wemby always commands at least a double, if Fox is also cooking single coverage we are gonna see a LOT of open shots for Devin, Champs, Bryant, Barnes, etc.

Add in Castle and Harper breaking down defenses driving in, forget about it, I’d stack us up against anyone. It was great to see he’s still capable of being that guy last night, because we’ll need that guy in the POs

Would it be the first time. I did hear that somewhere, don't remember where, though. I thought it had been done before.

May have been done before. Thought I heard it in the 76er's Peacock broadcast, also, along with Sean and Jacob talking about the below graphic.

It's happened a tons of times before. 17-18 Heat and 23-24 Pacers even had 9 guys in double figures (Pacers almost had 10, Jalen Smith ended the year at 9.9).

Like with most of the wild "first time ever" stats we hear these days, there is a qualifier they aren't stating... my guess is that it's games played by each player.

Yes, you're right, thanks. I thought it was done before, so I wasn't sure what they were talking about and/or what that qualifier is. Another stat that doesn't mean much.

Yeah,I’m not counting guys playing 15-20 games. If you had 8 guys plying a minimum of 50 games? 60 games? That would be something.

Spurs have eight with Victor's 48 Games Played the lowest total. Five of the eight are around 75% of the games played (48-53 gp). JC and KJ have 62, HB has 60. Link below.
