Or manufacturing salary, like inflating a S&T of one of the expiring guys to a team with cap space, but that would have an extra cost associated. Wouldn't rule it out, but definitely sub-optimal.

Is there an NBA player that social media has been worse for? I'm sure I'm forgetting some super obvious case here, but damn KD has turned into such a twat over the years.

It does seem like even without his social media obsession he'd be a bitter, grudge-holding motherfucker but damn.
 
Rockets play the Hornets tomorrow who KD said had a better young core, NBA is the best tbh :st-lol:

Told ya it was a good read! Rockettes fans are much more dramatic than most Spursfans... And tbh, if my latest rings won weren't even in this millenium, and I had to sit through a decade + of Harden ball with nothing to show for it...... I'd be just as pissed with this shit :st-lol:

I don't get why they didn't trade some of this year's expiring's to try and get players to use that roster money to work with next offseason/season (for trades).

So, was there no advantage to taking on other contracts? If so, why did the Spurs cut their options like that? Would they not have had the MLE or BAE to work with if they did that? I think I read that BAE can only be used every two years, but if you haven't used it the year before, you can still use it the following year?

Either way in FA, the Spurs were only going to have the MLE and BAE to work with (unless they traded away some salary like Vassell and then renounced everyone else).

The bigger thing is now they have no salary to trade away unless they are going be moving someone who is currently a part of the main rotation (since that's all that is going to be left on the team).

This limits their flexibility, but maybe the Spurs have decided they like their current rotation and next year they're only going to want to add a draft pick and an MLE free agent and keep rolling. Or maybe they've decided that if Vassell or Keldon or Fox flame out in the playoffs, then they'll be trading one of those guys away. Who knows?

At the end of the day, it's not the biggest deal... but the team always talks about maintaining flexibility, so it is a little surprising they didn't maintain flexibility in this regard.

With that said, they've also been having success in the draft the last few years and maybe they've decided that's what they are going to focus on anyway.

1 and 2 might be good enough to ring a few times. We have a super raw rookie power forward and inconsistent shooting and we are still one of the 5 best teams in the nba. Get a modern 4 who can play up to 20 minutes of not terrible basketball and get pretty much anybody who can shoot it around 40% on wide open 3's and we are going to mow through the league. Of our 3 core players one is already mvp caliber one is all star caliber and the only reason why the 3rd one isn't at least all star caliber is because he comes off the bench. All 3 still have years to get better as well.

The only thing I really worry about as far as the offseason goes is the spurs bringing barnes back in any capacity and they just flat out decide to never get a non terrible 3rd center so we are always one Victor / Kornet injury away from Bryant playing small ball 5 and now we back to not having a real power forward...which is what would feed into them bringing barnes back.
 
Remember he called Kawhi a system player after the Spurs won in 2014. KD being a twat is nothing new lol.

Game tied with 1 sec left. Jabari Smith or Sengun on the FT line.

Is it okay to distract them by chanting...."KD gonna tweet u", "KD call you retard" etc
