I think this move is Austin Spurs related. They have already lost Jamaree Bouyea who got called up by Phoenix. There might have been some rumblings that Mangas might be called up by another team and they didn't want to lose another PG.

It's noteworthy that there are usually little connections between Spurs' main team and the gleague's team. Spurs don't use the gleague to develop their prospects like we are seeing now with Carter Bryant who is staying with the main team. Maybe it's because they think the gap is too big between these leagues to allow the gleague to be a relevant development tool.

On a side not, Austin Spurs are doing very well with a 12-1 record. Just looking at stats, Jayden Nunn and Stanley Umude stand out.

I know very little about him, and while he doesn't look like a plus athlete, he does look more athletic and fluid than Minix.

I have no clue. Upon first look, he doesn't seem very athletic. Looks like he has some good skills, but can he play at the NBA level against NBA level athletes. I guess I shouldn't comment as I know next to nothing about the guy. I don't know what his strengths and weaknesses are.

I was thinking Pat Spencer, but, a Mangas mustache would really tie it together.
