The doggedness, the intensity, the hunger, the laser-like focus. No bulletin board material, no soft braggadocio or cheap trash talk..Wemby is the best player of the team, but i think Castle is the tougher mofo and the most mentally immovable object of this roster..

He is already that guy in Year 2. Crazy..

He's going to force his way out because he's so much more competitive than anyone else.

OP has said it before but he has that Kawhi Leonard development and swag when he was in his first 2 years from 2011 to 2013.

If castle had Wemby’s talent, he would already be the best player in the league.

Correct. Wemby's still our best and most talented player, but he's too mentally soft and/or checked out too often. He's not the alpha yet I fear. Castle is a dawg though, broken jumper and all. If he ever figures out that 3-point shot, he'll be unguardable tbh.

I was saying last year that Castle seemed more aggressive and whatnot.

Now if only he could start hitting some 3s.

To me it’s clear that Steph is the one teammate that Victor truly trusts (maybe Kornett too).

We really need to hope Wemby continue to develop mentally..It is very hard to win when your best player is shaky in that department (even Lebron was dodgy on that front until 2012).. Wemby gets easily flustered and taken out of rhythm and resort to committing dumb fouls, lazy TOs and just gets into an overall passive posture.. For now, it seems like Castle is better at dealing with in-game adversity than Victor..

The form and confidence is still there with the 3s (confidence meaning he isn’t shying away from shooting when he’s open). He just needs to see a a few go down.

Calm down, he still has a lot of work to do on his game.

best lob passer on the team too. I told y'all Don Harris said Steph will be the second best player on the team by the end of the season.

As much as I'm rooting for a Steph's leap -- and he is blowing up before our eyes -- this won't be a good look for Fox if Castle usurps him so soon in team hierarchy before even that fat max kicks in.. Needs to level up fast before the whispers get loud.

agree, but that's on the coach running sets for Fox. Right now it's just "Fox run in transition" and "Fox stand in the corner". Mitch needs to run the old Tony Parker loop and zipper cut sets.

I agree, he reminds me a ton of Mario Elli.

He may not be the most talented player out there but he has that fire, toughness and will that makes him a huge stand out and a game changer

Not to mention what he brings on the defensive end!

we have plenty of Castle threads tbh.. not sure if this take needed a new one nonetheless he was clearly the alpha yesterday too bad he caught some dumb fouls that costed some playing time
