Game Thread Spurs vs Jazz (Fri 10/10/25) [7:00PM CDT]

If they can figure the three guard rotations out on and off the court they're gonna pressure the defense so bad.

What a fucking start from Dylan Harper, holy shit.

It's really true that players who are "a level above" just have something different to their game. This dude looks the part of a PG of the future in his first NA game. The lobs!!!

Yay more free throws. Just what the nba needs
I think it's reasonable if the defender doesn't get the ball, some idiots like Dillon Brooks intentionally hit shooters on most contests.
But if the defender gets the ball before he touches the shooter's palm, it should never be a foul.

Hopefully Castle is back by the opening night, there's a huge difference when we have a point guard on the floor.
We need at least one of Fox/Harper/Castle on the floor at all times.

0 cohesion with this lineup of Bryant, Vassell, Wemby, Waters, Champagnie

Luke looks like he's really gonna work out here. Can see why Boston fans loved him so much.

Yeah Luke is going to be one of my favorite players this year. He just highlights how shitty Collins was
I watched some of Collins yesterday and fuck, I was having PTSD moments, thinking I was watching the Spurs with his shit play

Waters is wet
He'll be a good asset to have if his shot is consistent.
The best thing about this season is that we'll have third string guys that will keep second string guys focused because we'll be able to sit them when they're not playing well.

5/18 from 3, and not sure how much the missing guys in Fox, Castle, and Sochan would help that number

harrison barnes is horribly bricking every shot yet every second play drawn up is a harrison barnes corner three for some reason

Good basketball rubs off on scrubs. Even KJ is throwing dimes after adding legitimate NBA players like Harper and Kornet. 😭

Harper with the cut for his first bucket and the corner 3 there bode well for his ability to share the court with Fox/Castle

Harper's jumpshot looks consistent.
The release point is a bit low, but I don't think he'll struggle with his shot after he adjusts to the NBA 3pt line.
