I’m actually a little surprised at how bad this Kings team is. They’ve got a franchise player in Sabonis, they’ve got an ancient but serviceable supporting cast, Lavine and Monk. On paper, that’s not a championship contender but that’s a low seeded playoff team. Oh well, good win!

Sabonis is not a franchise player. He's a good player. He's too small to be any good defensively, which is most important for a center.

Kings are such a horrible team, but nothing is easy for us without Wemby (and Castle).

Keldon's rebounding was elite, he saved at least 6 points by grabbing balls that should've been easy offensive rebounds.

add in Kornet's production it might be time to sell high on Wemby

Their roster is a collection of empty stats guys. All of them on the same team should absolutely translate to a lot of losing.

My theory is that the coaching staff is taking it very slow, integrating plays step by step along the way. At least I hope so.

I‘m still holding out hope to see us run the alley oop curl play that we used to run for LMA and Kawhi for Wemby as well as the Tony Parker loop sets for Fox.

Spurs are a tier better than Kings, a tier below Warriors. That's not bad right now. They could have had either Warriors game, too.

Given the injuries and crazy lineups, you appreciate a win like this one and move on to the next.

Not a perfect game, but Spurs were in control throughout. Kings tried to make a run or two but never really threatened.

Spurs are a tier better than Kings, a tier below Warriors. That's not bad right now. They could have had either Warriors game, too.

Fox played horribly in game one and played great in game 2 before the last two minutes. That was game. Had the ball with 26 seconds to go and shot a jumper with a lot time on the clock and then fouled Curry for the win. His last shot I don't blame him , he just missed.

Man, I don’t know that they’re below the Warriors, even considering the ugly two game series. I don’t recall when they play next, but if it’s a couple months away and health barring, our guys can beat em and beat em well.
