Who gives a shit if he's an ok shooter for a 7 footer? Take the three when it presents itself wide open off a screen or wide open in transition but don't make it the main part of your offense which is what he was doing in the first half. Now Wemby gets his ass in the high post and all of a sudden the offense looks good again in the second half. Watching Wemby just lazily hang at the three point line is like watching Will Hunting lay bricks and makes the coaching staff look like parents who let their kids eat candy for dinner.

Again, keep this energy when Wemby is drilling the pull-up 3's that make him must-watch TV. People sure hate those. I never said he can't play on the post, but he must keep shooting, it's absolutely an imperative and will continue to be a big part of his game, hopefully. He is that fucking good of a shooter, and even if the stats aren't telling you that right now, your eyes should be.

He is the most frustrating of all. The potential has always been there, but he's still a zero if his shot isn't falling. Doesn't move off the ball, gives it up immediately when he's chased off the line, doesn't body up when it's time to rebound, and isn't aggressive. Then there are his issues on the other end.

I wish we could fuse him and KJ. Combine Vassell's natural talent with KJ's competitiveness and fire to win so we could actually have at least one wing who is a complete NBA player.
