I hear you on French Vanilla, but Wemby and 4 guards isn’t cutting it either. Our lack of credible shooting hurts badly. Why not try to exhaust them with the two big line up in that case?

I think moving Champ to the bench has been a lowkey underrated factor for this slog. Vassell is too inconsistent to start and Steph too valuable not to start. Something has to give, and we all know what it is.

I’m going have to agree on Champ starting. He has seriously regressed and Devon can feast on the second unit. @scott mentioned that before the regular season as well.

i have faith that wemby will eventually overcome his low bball IQ tendencies but the likes of sochan, vassell, champagnie etc. just are who they are

one good play (at most) followed by three crushingly stupid ones in a row. time won't change that.

Sure, he can get fouled on 2pt and 3pt shot attempts though, did you miss James Harden's career? His 7 feet tall unguardable jumper is quite the efficient shot to begin with. Practice them, get fouled while making them, Curry style.

You sure seem to think him "shooting less" would have no impact on his ability to make the game-winning ISO 3 on Vucevic like, a game ago...

Victor shoots 34.5% on the three, that's two points worse than league average. He is not a good shooter, at least not from distance. And he has 0 free throws playing this soft bullshit. He should be lighting teams frontcourts up with fouls and getting gimmes at the line where he shoots an elite 85%. A below average shooter should not be trying to act like he's Steph Curry, that's ridiculous.

Hate to say it…but spurs are not ready for okc …

Ill be positive and say that these struggles will help them grow and harpers return will solidify their progress…but its looking rough right now…

unless serviceable guys flock to the spurs for the minimum we will never be ready for okc … their drafting and FO work is million years ahead
