Game Thread Spurs (8-3) vs Warriors (7-6) (Fri 11/14/25) [8:30PM CDT]

Also, I hope this puts to bed the idea of easy games against Western Conference playoff teams or even play-in contenders.
Those won't exist this season, like even with Reeves/Lebron out, GS on b2b, whoever without whoever.

The West is crazy stacked. Nearly every game will be a battle until the Pels/Mavs/etc start going fire-sale or sitting guys/full tank mode.
Don't expect easy wins, your just begging to be disappointed.

Socks have to match sneaker color, tbh.
Ankle socks for shorts. (except when playing)
Regular socks for pants.
Any other way and you go down a couple of tiers on my fashion rules list.
Adjusting my wardrobe...

Spurs outplayed the warriors on Wednesday, who needed the refs to get them back in the game.

Wemby needs to be planted in the paint and get GS in foul trouble, and stop doing those “fancy” passes, which, honestly, look kind of stupid when he does them. I’m really hoping he plays a smarter game this time.

i would say its the biggest game for Mitch because this is his first real chess match. yes we had back to back games against denver last year which were thrilling, but this year the spurs actually seem to be on the cusp of actually being a good/playoff team, so the stakes are there. warriors are 7-6 and are clinging to the next year or so being their last real shot at relevance.
Agree. This is where we find out if Mitch can make the game to game adjustments that are important, not only to winning in general, but also against the same team which will be critical for winning a playoff series. The Warriors showed us their winning hand on Wednesday. What will be Mitch's response? Will there be tweaks to the offense and defense or will we just run it back the same way and hope Fox has a better game and Curry doesn't go nuclear?

Maybe, but I think a lot of this is learning how to win. I think Castle knows how to win, I'd bet last season was about the only time he didn't compete for a championship.
I think Castle and Korn are the only guys that truly know how and expect to go win every night. Everyone else is learning or learning how not to be a Kang.

I put that game on his foul trouble, we looked like a totally different team on both sides when he was off the floor. Combined with how Fox & Vassell (and really Wemby for 3 quarters who went 12/7/3 in the 4th) played, we were lucky to not get blown out.

Excited to see how they respond tonight.
Castle and Kornet are with Barnes the only reliable players of the team on offense, (Wemby obviously is on D)

I'm more concerned by players mechanically lowering the IQ level of the team anytime they touch the floor, the Vassell, Champagnie or even my guy KJ.

I'm "cool" being beaten by a better team, not seing my team beating itself like a bunch of headless chickens like last game.

Raynond and Butler were shitting on Kuminga after their last loss.

He played 12 min against us

Losing while playing like a bunch of headless chickens is part of the growing pains when you have a young team who's best player is 21.

Its gonna happen again a few more times. Good coaches can try to limit this, but it's impossible to avoid it completely.

Howdy Bums! Does anyone know if NBC Peacock is on regular cable NBC or if it's an internet channel you have to purchase. I've seen it on my ROKU but have never watched it. Is it both?

It's an additional service you have to pay for, though there are many ways to get it for free (through many credit cards, through a WalMart+ subscription, through a cell phone plan, etc)

LMAOOO I dated this girl in HS who gave me shit about a black belt with brown polo boots. Shit sticks with me till this day.

When one of my aunts was about to get married, her husband-to-be got trashed the night before the wedding, got arrested for something, and some uncles(along with my Dad) had to bail him out. Already stupid, right?

What did I hear about from my Mom and her sisters for years? That he wore white socks with his tux.

Not getting arrested the night before his wedding. His fucking socks. lol

That type of patience is conditioned by having the right personnel.

You can wait 10 years, Vassell Champagnie or Sochan won't change who they are.

I get the support and patience of the process but it's not the subject, the issue is the roster and as long as this one isn't fixed it's absurd to expect anything else but a litany of dumb plays throughout the season.

Some players bc of their IQ or skill set might be able to mitigate the impact of those players but any decent coach like Kerr will know how to exploit those weaknesses.

I have more hopes of Mitch getting better with time than the players I mentioned.

And yet Wemby was one of the biggest culprits for the game in question. Bro was attempting 360 no-scope passes that kept getting picked off.

We're not gonna win many games when Wemby is flirting with 10 turnovers. Blaming Champ, Vassell & Sochan for that is certainly a choice.

Welcome to the full Pauleta experience :st-lol:

Whoever was allowing Moody to hork 3's galore in the *comeback*

Can we get some D on him?

If the refs start awarding prancing Curry, i want Mitch completely in their faces to the point of T and if it continues ejection.

Haven't heard jack shit out of him re Wed night with Foster and 2 other riggers.
Moody did most of his damage in the first half. He was the only thing keeping them from going down 20+.
