Game Thread Spurs (62-19) vs Nuggets (53-28) (Sunday 4/12/26) [7:30PM CDT]

Didn’t really care about losing this one, but now getting upset that Mitch is leaving our starters out there. What’s the point of this? Why take the risk of a freak injury. Huge mistake.

This is why you don't half ass games. Either go for the win or sit the fucking starters. Just a pathetic and embarrassing showing by the Spurs. Likely WCF appearance just turned into a more than likely 2nd round exit. SMH

Shut it down, Mitch. Whether or not the Spurs (organization) wanted to win this one, the Spurs (players) clearly didn’t care by their effort level tonight.
They cared but they just lose it. I guess you are one of the posters here that think spurs can beat nuggets even without wemby. :st-lmao:

we haven’t been able to defend them all year. Thats very concerning tbh

mitch is a bum tbh... like why bench kornet and wemby and not just everyone or nobody
Kornet was legit hurt last game.
He thought others can do it against third stringers, but we're not even winning non-Jokic minutes.
I understand the lack of rim protection, but everyone getting scored on 1v1 at will is a really bad look.

I will definitely give y'all that Mitch playing halfway to win was the dumbest move regardless of this game matters or not. That being said Harper was probably always going to play. I hope his injury isn't serious - I don't remember seeing him get hurt. But I see no reason to have rotation players in there right now and if anyone else gets hurts then Mitch deserves a shit ton of flak.

If Wemby wasn't injured against the Mavs, tonight was a colossally stupid move. Can we beat them in Round Two? We will soon find out because we chose them. Getting our asses kicked in game 82 is not great ever.
