Game Thread Spurs (62-19) vs Nuggets (53-28) (Sunday 4/12/26) [7:30PM CDT]

Spurs clearly want to win this game - you can’t convince me otherwise. They got cute and thought they could skate by due to Denver sitting their entire roster.

Just so fucking frustrating, man.

These small lineups are awful. A third center (a true one) is becoming more essential. I might just jump on the “draft Aday Mara” train.
The Spurs had every chance to draft Ware or Kalkbrenner, but chose to dump those picks instead. BW is more likely to double down by drafting another guard to keep pounding that rock and to keep Pop’s midget ball legacy alive.

I’ve seen middle school girls that can make three-point shots better than Fox sometimes. Fucking clown.

Everyone can fuck right off with 3pt chucking, it's what got us into trouble in the first place.
And a lot of our losses were on idiotic 3pt chucking.

Worst game of the season on the final day, great stuff. Let them sit on this for a week.

I thought this was going to be a chill, non-stressful end to the season. Ended up being the most frustrating loss of the year probably.

Ware wouldn’t do it either. Not bulky enough. Minimum gotta be Kornet-sized.

We’re playing against a borderline G-League team. I get that we are missing our two best big men but I don’t understand how you let this Denver roster beat you at home. Just mind-boggling stuff.
Denver’s outside shooting opened things up and our guards and forwards looked like matadors escorting Denver’s players to the basket, not to mention the poor rebounding on both ends.
