Game Thread Spurs (62-19) vs Nuggets (53-28) (Sunday 4/12/26) [7:30PM CDT]

glad we didn't tank the dallas game so we can get pummeled at home by 40 and then get them in the second round...

I don’t think it’s difficult to understand that forcing OKC and Denver to slug it out in the semis instead of OKC getting a free path to the WCF and us having to beat both isn’t a huge benefit
We literally shot ourselves in both knees tonight and significantly lowered our championship chances.

can't believe people actually thought jokic/valanciunas vs plumlee/biyombo would go any other way

genuinely shocked reading all the "this is a gimme" takes online building up to the game :st-lol:

Nothing says champion like avoiding a team that could beat you. Beat them or get out, you weren't meant to win.

Jokic/JV has nothing to do with the Spurs being unable to score a single basket for like 10 minutes.

I didn't think this game could negatively effect confidence going into the playoffs...but this is demoralizing and makes it 100% clear we only have 2 NBA bigs actually capable of boxing a G-leaguer out.
