Facts. Really miss Bill Land on the call too tbh.
I'm pretty sure if was shortly after that game, or later in the season, there was a post somewhere, not sure if it was twitter, but this pornstar randomly said (I'm paraphrasing) "no dick pics, nobody send me any, unless you're Kawhi Leonard, he can send me some anytime." lol, really random quote.
Kawhi's swag was at it's peak that year as he was playing DPOY level (I think his best defensive year) and top 5 on offense. Pop really tried to get him to play both ends at MVP level that season and he almost pulled it off if not for that Zaza shit. I really wanted to see how far the Spurs could have went had that incident not happened.
I also wonder if that season took a lot out of him, as I sometimes think back to that season when it's mentioned how big of a load Victor carries on both defense and offense. Kawhi didn't seem to last long playing both ends of the court at that level. Maybe that season had nothing to do with it and it was just Kawhi's body itself, but he had to drop off defensively in following seasons and has still been out with injuries.
Pretty sure he was a starter but then got injured early in the season which led to Kerr staring Green and the rest is history
Yes, that makes sense. Now I remember. He didn't really play much after Draymond took over. He would have played a bigger role on the Spurs had they won a ring in 2016/2017. Completely forgot that Draymond took over for him.
Champ and Barnes slumps were checked at the door
Great slumpbuster. Hopefully these guys can get it going for the rest of the season and whole of the playoffs. We really, really need you Julian. Keep it going. No letups.
2nd Round Pick, Raynaud dropping 32 pts, 9 rebs, 3 asts
No comment.

.
Don't ask me for the exact source, but I recall a journalist on twitter saying that Raynaud specifically wanted to go to Sacramento. In the second round players have more leverage, he might have asked other teams for more money/guarantees than he did Sacramento, or asked them to pass on him outright (like VanVleet, Reaves, etc). But I don't think he just flew under the radar all the way to 42 by chance.
Yeah, I read the same thing somewhere. I thought someone mentioned he also had a girlfriend there still going to school, but not sure where I heard that or even if it was correct. Anyone heard that?
I actually respect the hell out of Raynaud for wanting to carve his own path out in the NBA and not just be Wemby's chess buddy lacky. Going to Sacramento and getting massive minutes and usage probably made him a lot of money.
This kid is known for being smart, so maybe he wanted to maximize his possible earnings by playing for the Kings to put up some numbers and get a bigger contract offer than if he were to sit on someone's bench. Still, I think it would have worked with the Spurs. He would have been with a great organization, have a very good friend of his on the team, and I also think he would have gotten minutes.
OKC still has the JDub predicament lingering as well. He hasn't looked good this year (by his standards), they will want to get him spun up in time for the playoffs. Unlike some, I do think they are likely still the favorites even with a compromised JDub (assuming Ajay Mitchell is healthy).
These guys have had a lot of good/solid picks that aren't top of the lottery picks (apart from Chet). It kind of sucks hearing people bringing up a second round pick like Ajay Mitchell as a key piece/big player for them (shows how good their drafting has been outside of top 4 picks) for one of the best teams in the league. It can't make other teams feel good knowing how good OKC is and then they got guys like Mitchell who were a second round pick
