Game Thread Spurs (5-0) @ Suns (2-4) (Sun 11/02/25) [7:00PM CDT]

Not surprised. This win streak has prolly emboldened the staff to be super extra cautious. Holding them out tomorrow gives these guys 3 extra days of rest because we don't play again till Wednesday.

Still can't believe that there are idiots out there who bought Nephew's bs about Spurs trying to force him to play while injured. This team has a long history of doing the exact opposite.

Yea...But we are putting alot of workload on wemby so early. At least bring in olynyk,Cant be any worse then bioyombo.

They were willing to play wemby 39 minutes so it’s not like they’re being uber conservative

It’s just weird that Kornet played last Friday and nobody seemed worried now he’s missing at least 4 games

Young Timmy used to play high minutes as well. Wemby is not coming off a lower body injury, playing him high 30s is nbd. Especially with the 2 days rest like he's had after the Heat game. And he'll have 2 days again after the Suns game.

Calculated work load, tbh.

Smh…hopefully we get guys back by Wednesday for the game against LA. Will mark 2 weeks since the start of the season so going to start getting a little concerned if there’s no positive news around guys returning.

I was hoping Fox would play at least. I've been wanting to see him and Wemby at full health. I see the Spurs are now CIAMitch.

Are Korndog's ankles made from the finest porcelain? WTF?

I wonder if minutes restrictions were offered to Fox and/or Sochan to come back a little earlier and they declined that? Sometimes guys can come back sooner but with minutes restriction in place. Problem is players (especially all star caliber guys or guys chasing a contract) typically hate that because it tanks their per game averages.

Games missed also goes against the 65 game floor for awards and post season teams. You have to pick your poison, I guess.

This is all setting up for the Spurs to go undefeated and then when anyone of these guys come back and we lose we'll have to deal with the inevitable "I told you we are better without [player]!" But to be fair, it might be me saying it if it's Sochan :st-lol:
