Is this a burn the tape game or endemic of a wider problem?
Love my boy Castle but he’s been mediocre for quite a stretch.
Agree with people clamouring for Harper to come back into the game instead.
 
we might not have to worry about salary cap issues, if Castle continue to play this way he'll be lucky to get 80 millions - 4 years

We're basically at the mercy of Fox/Wemby getting hot and carrying us against good teams.

You don’t come back from 20 down only to give it right back after building a lead without being weak and undisciplined. At this rate, these guys might still squeak in as the 3rd or 4th, but they won’t sniff a playoff win like this.

We were optimists, not sniffers imo. But Ive been of that wagon since that Utah loss.
 
Wemby had a really bad game by his standards, but he was wide open under the basket at least 5 times and whoever had the ball didn't even consider attempting a lob.
Then Fox did it in the clutch and fucked up.
They also missed Kornet a couple of times, just took awful 3s.
 
Disappointing effort and NO has some real talent . Victor is playing soft and like shit lately. I could tell his shots were off from the first free throws in the 1st quarter, yet, he kept jacking them up to no avail. Harper is the biggest head-scratcher though. Why he's benched regardless of momentum in the 4th quarter is mystifying. I wish Mitch would just lose it in a postgame interview and say how bad they are playing and the lack of focus and effort after a game like this.
Also, maybe it's some CIA Pop shit to make Adelman coach the ASG? A game like this makes me feel like grabbing Sadiq Bey right now if that's a possibility.
 
Only a matter of time till Ron Harper mouths off on social media with Dylan’s minutes.

Chucking 3’s over and over until he gets it going from there. It’s just not a habit I want to see him get into.

Another game where we could really use a quick, dynamic scoring point guard who can carry the load when the team isn't hitting their shots. Anywhere we can get one? Sacramento?
 
Not a coincidence the pelicans took the lead back when castle came back in. On top of his putrid offense, the pelicans were taking turns destroying Steph
 
Maybe we can have an effort, physicality game someday. That might be an idea. Just spitballin' here
 
I can't lie, now that I've calmed down I'm really happy we lost this game.
10 minutes of effort against one of the worst teams in the league shouldn't be rewarded.

Said it the other day, our record is way better than our actual level because we basically didn't lose any clutch games up until recently.
Now that we can't win clutch games anymore, we look like a .500 team. 8-8 since Christmas.
4 of those losses against sub .500 teams.
2 more in embarrassing meltdown fashion in Minnesota and Houston.

If anyone knows a single SA reporter with some spine, maybe we can get a crowdfund going.
I'd pay good money to hear "at what point it stops being about effort and the effectiveness of the offensive gameplan starts being questioned" during Mitch's media availability.
