Game Thread Spurs (31-14) vs Pelicans (11-36) (Sun 1/25/26) [6:00PM CDT]

Frost Bank pulling out the rulebook on that fan halfcourt shot

TMIII turning on his normal Spur Crusher Mode

Castle just dribbles out of bounds like when you get stuck in a drive animation in 2K

I don’t even understand what castle attempted there lol

Also our team doesn’t sene to understand that ball movement isn’t just passing the ball around the perimeter like a game of hot potato. Just no off all movement at all and no attempt to create openings

castle sometimes is just worthless on offense.Almost as bad as sochan,

Crazy stat they just flashed… Zion’s current 22 consecutive game streak is the 2nd longest of his career

I don't want to sound overly negative, but I don't think we'll see this team perform consistently this season.
The offensive gameplan is just non-existent other than infinite drive and kick with stars taking an iso here and there.

We have one of the worst defenses in front of us and we're playing them the same we play OKC.

These Pelicans are 3-14 over their past 17 games with wins against the Wizards, Nets and Grizzlies.
But we'll have to listen to this homer bs from Sean about how they're a great roster that will put it together any moment now.

Three days of rest, down 9 at the half while shooting 11 more FTs.
-11 on the glass.

Do we blame the entire roster for playing badly or the coaching staff?

Can’t blow a halftime lead if you don’t have one

Big brain stuff from the Spurs here tonight
