Game Thread Spurs (31-14) vs Pelicans (11-36) (Sun 1/25/26) [6:00PM CDT]

Never noticed before or maybe it’s new… but the Spurs announcer introduced Victor as a forward in the starting lineup

I think we'll have to transfer the main character nickname from Devin to Castle.

Interesting matchups, I guess we don't want Barnes getting murdered by Zion or Queen.

Need to get Derick Queen in foul trouble early. He has a tendency to pick up dumb fouls. Get him a quick 2nd and send him to the bench.

Up 6, Fox gambles for a steal, Wemby chucks an early clock 3 against their terrible defense and we have a mismatch on the other end that we have to foul.
I hate these careless sequences.

It’s really hard to put into words the 3 consecutive brain dead dumbass losing basketball plays Fox just made.

One on one with Queen on the perimeter with the floor spread, settles for a lazy 3.

Gambles at half court and leads to wide open Bey 3.

Intentionally fouls Bey near the basket with 7’5 Wemby right next to him waiting to block the shot.

Gonna be hard to put up with another 4 years of that garbage. Hopefully he can eventually get the Sacramento King out of him.

That dunk was straight up nasty business

What's with some players playing so undisciplined once they start to increase the lead a bit. Stop acting so lackadaisical

Didn't realize Vasselline can't miss 3 more games or won't be eligible for season awards!

Three days of rest and still half-assing it against the worst team in the league.

Spurs have given up 4 Offensive Boards already. We have 4 ourselves though.

Good on Dylan for dunking that. That was a guaranteed block if he put that up soft

Meanwhile, Timberwolves are about to lose at home against the Warriors.

Nice back to back drives by Harper and Vassell. Like their aggression on the break.
