I maintain that the single greatest weapon in the NBA will very soon be Vic catching the ball in the high post. His vision and ability to pass to all 4 players on the court means everyone has to stay home on defenders or throw hard doubles. Wemby can either shoot over or wait for a cutter as soon as the help defense curls off to get the ball out of his hands.

If the defense doesn't double, Wemby is just a foot away from being in the paint where he's unstoppable.

I really hope we initiate a lot of our offense soon with Vic at the FT line or on the elbow. I just don't know that any team in NBA history has an answer for that. If you're a step off where you need to be on defense, he's one gather dribble away from a dunk or a pass to an open shooter.

Really hope the Spurs spend some capital to find a genuinely scary 3 & D guy. I know Carter Bryant might get there someday but he's a loooong way away from being Bruce Bowen for us, and we need that. Bonus points if it's a 4.
