I've actually been fine with Tobey when he's doing actual play by play. It's when he goes off tangent or starts joking around with Sean that it becomes cringe.

Sean lobs him up so many softballs that Jacob either misses or responds with awkward, dead silence. :st-lol:

Probably just a generational gap thing but it's slightly better than last year IMO.

Yes. If I went ahead and paid for fan duel along with league pass I could see all the games. I like to watch NBA but spending another $20 a month doesn’t seem sane. I wouldn’t choose a Thunder or Grizzly game usually and sure wouldn’t pay for it. I think tonight will be the 2nd Spurs game I’ll be blacked out this year. I was also blacked out for the middle okc game. As today goes on I will be more and more tempted to buy fanduel. I’m so weak!

I think Tobey will be fine in a couple of years, but it takes time to get up to speed.

He's got the voice and enthusiasm, it's just that his Spurs knowledge is lacking and he often wants to compensate by saying random stuff from Spurs history which he obviously learned recently.

Should've been hired a couple years earlier during the rebuild to get more experience before we start competing in the playoffs.

with Minny it might more depend on Gobert ... his defensive impact is still huge so him playing minutes without Ant could explain this

They still do that whole boomer vs millenial thing which I don't really care for, but it is what it is. There are far worse duos out there.

Grizz prolly shoot 25-38 from three tonight tbh, led by that scrub Cam Spencer and Jaylen Wells while JJJ posts 20 rebounds.
