Game Thread Spurs (23-8) vs Cavs (17-16) (Mon 12/29/25) [7:00 PM CDT]

it is getting tiring to have 1-2 good games from Barnes, Vassel and Champagnie and 5-6 shit games.

The spurs thought they won the chip after beating OKC, naw this ain't the summer fellas you still have a long arse season to go.

Might have peaked too early. Pop used to know how to pace and ramping up in March and April into the playoffs

I don’t even know what that means s I’ll just duck out of the conversation
i know you’ve ducked already… but my POV is that if there’s at least half the league that would hand Castle the keys to the offense and run the point, then they believe he has the skills to do so. The idea that he needs another playmaker next to him to make him more efficient is, IMO, irrelevant due to the fact that you can look at any player in the league and say they perform better because of playing next to Bob, the player. Castle needing another guy next to him to stabilize the offense because he can get out of control is the same point as saying Trae needs a defender next to him because he’s a liability.

We need to recognize those 5v4 situations better.
If we're a man up, just double team the ballhandler and deny passes to everyone else, easy to catch most players off guard in such uncommon situations.

Harper going aggressively to the rim has opened things up.
Also, we need to play Keldon more minutes in games where our offense is struggling.
