we've outrebounded our opponents in every game upto now and that's with an undersized PF. It's great gang rebounding. The main reason why we were so bad last season, was that nobody boxed out. No idea why, but Corliss Williamson changed that.I wonder do we work on securing rebounds cause the Spurs have way more tip drill rebounds in their games than other basketball games I watch.
I watched Denver and Phoenix last night and the overwhelming majority of rebounds are just grabbed by somebody. Just grabbed with 2 hands like normal. But in Spurs games it seems like every 3rd or 4th rebound attempt is tipped multiple times. It's pretty shocking they have been an above average fast break team so far with them not being able to just secure rebounds at a consistent rate.
