Hopefully Mitch can see the obvious regarding Harper...

He needs to start. Our shooters anecdotally shoot better off his drive and kicks, Harper gets by defenders in ways Castle can't. I like Castle on defense but offensively he just isn't a primary ball handler. Not his fault imo, lead guard isn't taught, it's innate.

It was both. Their run started in the non-VW mins, and they stayed hot from 3 after he came back in.

Biggest problem was they started blitzing and doubling Wemby and he and the rest of the team just fell apart on offense. Until Harper put the team on his back and settled things down.

I didn't get to watch the game other than a few minutes in the 1Q. Glad to see they pulled out the victory, and Harper was balling. I'm excited to see the three-headed monster of Castle, Fox, and Harper. Should be entertaining.

Momentum is a crazy thing in basketball, Nets started playing loose and shots started dropping when Wemby went to rest early in 3rd. A blowout win turned into a gritty win, not the worst thing. Was looking forward to some DJG and more CB minutes, but was not meant to be.

You can’t just replace Castle off the start position in favor of the rookie after 3 games. I LOVE Dylan, but Castle is our newly minted ROY. Sure he’s fumbled the ball and has not shot the ball well. But he’s redeemed himself with great plays over and over again. Nah that would be a blow to his development.

Admittedly, I wouldn't do anything drastic after 3 games...more data still needed. Also, I didn't technically say he should replace Castle in the SL...my bigger concern is HB at this juncture but demoting him requires more data points as well.
