The Spurs bench was talking challenge. Then they announced the play was being reviewed. I think Mitch suspected the review was for the kickout by Shai, not for an upgrade to flagrant by Harper.

Nah SGA is a class act. Listen to the postgame. He doesn't have a bad attitude with anyone. He plays like CP3 and Harden when it comes to getting fouls, but that's just his game. Doesn't mean he's a clown like Harden.

Agreed here. This was the biggest game. Conquered the mental Goliath and proves to our guys we can compete, and the win counts towards our win total. Knicks game is icing: playoff-like experience, and Wemby can work on his cardio

There’s no difference between him and harden/embiid. If your intention is to curate fouls you are a clown. A clown with mvp talent who treats everyone with respect and is otherwise super cool - but still a clown. SGA’s charm doesn’t negate his bullshit.

Though the replay was for upgrading the offensive foul to a flagrant, thought the replay showed Holmgren made contact with Harper's face first. Announcers didn't pick up on it.

Whatever you think of Shai personally, I’d say anyone who gets cute with landing zones deserves to step on a see of ankles when they hit the ground. It’s an interesting gambit to play. Winning vs Okc was highly important but today winning vs NY is the most important game of their career (Barnes & Kornet aside), especially Wemby who finished 2nd too many times already (2x) in his short career.

The way this team plays and how they are emotionally constructed bodes for success.
I'm certainly more euphoric than usual and maybe I need to put some Memphis Blues in my Ray Ban Meta, but it's nice to feel like the tean we're rooting for can walk in anywhere and beat anyone.
