Cavs won just 1 out of 5, against the Pacers.
119.6 DRTG in those games.

They have no depth with all those injuries, their bench has been really bad.
It basically comes down to if we can prevent Mobley from dominating the glass and stop Mitchell from scoring 40+.

It's not that horrible of a matchup because they have less size than anyone we faced recently.
But it's going to take a team effort on the glass and Mitchell can't be given easy points.

Yea this is prob an L. Spurs have zero rim-protection without Kornet in the game. It turns into a layup line pretty quickly when he sits. Lame. Hard to believe we don't have a better option as our 3rd string Center than the corpse of Bismack Biyombo.

Kornet clearly tweaked the ankle against Orlando but played through it.
I just knew right then and there that he'd be in the next injury report.
Hopefully it's very minor and he plays

last time he tweaked an ankle and played through it it was game 2 vs the pelicans then he missed something like 2 weeks with what turned out to be an ankle and shoulder thing

its not like the cavs are playing all that well, and they're very banged up too. but giving mitchell easy forays to the rim with mobley cleaning up is going to be a problem. at least Allen being out helps some, but we legitimately dont have a shotblocker anymore

i think they start sochan at the 5 over kelly, just because Mobley is as agile and mobile as he is. and with the starting unit sochan will basically be asked to rebound, screen, and dunk. with the bench there is more room for him to wind up in a ballhandling situation, but being out there with Fox, Vassell, and co will limit that

Darn, just had a look, wouldn't mind getting him. I've always wanted a German player on the Spurs and this kid would fill a real position of need. Don't think we've ever had a German player on the Spurs, have they? Would be cool to have yet another player from a different country on the Spurs to make them an even more global team. Question for the German posters? Do the Spurs have many fans in Germany? I'm guessing a lot of them are Mavericks or Magic fans.
