Game Thread Playoffs Round 1, Game 4: Spurs @ Blazers (2-1) (Sun 04/26/2026) [2:30 CDT]

The bench has to play better, Vic has to get better looks.
I think they can claw their way back to this game.

isn't it great that there are seven guys (barnes/johnson/mclaughlin/waters/biyombo/olynyk/plumlee) on the bench that are outright unplayable in the postseason?

what's even worse is that we knew this in november and MATFO did absolutely nothing about it :st-lol:
Spurs FO went full-retard with culture.

Fox has to take over..

Fox has to take over

Nice humble game for Wemby… we need these

IMO, the NBA is favouring Portland and wants to extend the series. I don't know why.

Blowouts are terrible for TV ratings. Portland vs Minnesota/Denver would also be terrible for ratings.

There is simply no credible conspiracy theory to suggest the NBA is making this happen to help Portland. 😂

Harper having a rough game… but at least putting himself in the right positions…

Keldon and Luke are bad…

And honestly, Wemby was also pretty bad that half.

Officiating isn’t the problem… our offense and effort is
I like to think it's a bit of both tbh. Our effort is intensity is def the biggest issue by far, but it's being compounded by the fact that we're being called for everything while they're allowed to be far more physical.

FT discrepancy so far:

Blazers: 13
Spurs: 4

Spurs need to come out and set the tone right out of the gates. Punch them in the mouth and let 'em know that we're not going away. That it's going to be a dog fight.

The offense is pathetic. We have our 7'6" center being guarded by one of the best perimeter defenders of all time, so what's our strategy? Have our 7'6" center start every play from the perimeter taking said GOAT defender off the drible. Shit's retarded.

Wemby really stinkin' it up and messing with chemistry out there.
This in and out of the lineup certainly kills the team's rhythm and offense. And then Victor plays outside of the offense, and when he's missing like tonight, completely breaks the offense and doesn't let other players get in rhythm.

Gotta give credit to the Blazers for bringing the energy and effort now our boys have to match it to have a chance in this game.

23-5 bench point advantage for Portland.

Harper with a donut and Keldon absolutely killing us again ugh.
