Buyout deadline is in two days.
It will be interesting how the league fighting against tanking will affect it. Tanking teams might be cautious and avoid buying out players that are productive for them.
The main buyout won't be for Spurs. If a player like Middleton is available, I doubt Spurs will mess up with their rotation and chemistry to add him.

So Middleton pretty much takes Bryant's spot in the rotation, right? I know the role would be different and probably greater, but have to think he'd be the odd man out.

Love trying to understand moves like this. The Grizzlies are obviously out of the playoff picture and not trying to work their way back into it... so bringing in the corpse of Taj seems very much a Bismack-like addition to their team... a no nonsense vet who can slap some sense into these youngs when needed.

Demar potentially getting bought out is nuts... he's the gift that keeps on giving for us. First delivering an FRP later used to get Fox, then that juicy SAC swap. If he gets bought out and signs with the Lakers, I wonder if we get some kind of secret royalty payment

Not activating Plumlee any of these games reads to me like they're settled on him being with the team the rest of the season and just want to bring him along slowly tbh.
