Player Kornhub

probably minor as hell that he could play through, but tomorrow is also first game of a b2b against the worst team in the league
Hopefully its just scheduled rest and he plays Monday then. The dropoff from Kornet to Biyombo is a chasm.

He just play through it after it happened? Can’t even recall it happening.

Sometime the adrenaline rush can help the player play through the sprain.

Player will feel the pain coming when they woke up the next morning.

Hopefully Mitch can give some of Korndog mins to CB

It might have happened on a lob attempt where he came down wrong. Don't know where it happened exactly.

welp, we should still beat Brooklyn without him though. Here's some great game tape from Kornet. He's currently 4th in the NBA in screen assists and the Spurs defensive rating with him is under 103 points.

The dude is just a solid player that knows his role and how to play the game these are the type of players you put around your all stars and he fits like a glove in the spurs sharing the ball offense. it sure looks like Boston under utilized his talents

people underestimated just how depleted Boston is. there was a lot of weird "they'll be fine" commentary from some circles.

Losing KP, Horford, and Kornet in one offseason completley depleted them of their rotation bigs in one fell swoop. And while moving on from an aging Holiday made sense for a team looking to take a gap year and reset a bit, in the very short term, Holiday is probably still overall a better player than Simons which was going to hurt them this year.

and now you have them leaning on White to be a primary player as opposed to playing off a superstar in Tatum and alongside a slew of good screening and spacing bigs

No Doubt Jason Tatum is a big fall-off; the key thing about the C's is losing role players like Kornet, Horford and Holiday. They still will do 'ok' without Porzinghis (KP). But I feel the C's played better (some times) without Tatum, who command a lot of on-the-ball time.

The two last East teams to represent the NBA Finals are probably both missing the playoffs this year. That's insane.

Was there any word on how serious the ankle injury was? Would be nice to have him back tonight after Wemby played a bunch down the stretch of yesterday's game.

There was no mention it during his post game interview, meaning that it's nothing serious. Just an early season precaution.

I understand Luke is questionable against the Raptors. Hopefully he can play tonight, his presence has been missed against the Nets. With him Spurs would most certainly have killed dat game much sooner.

if he cant go Thursday after having 5 days off, i'd be pretty concerned. miami gave wemby fits in the preseason, and Bam is a high minutes player. dont want bismack out there at all against that team lol.
