Can we talk about the refs? Seriously, they gave it their all for the Pistons! Every time one of their guys drove it was a foul on us and an and-one, every time our guys got fouled making a shot at the rim they didn't give the and-one, Duren mugged Wemby many times for loose ball fouls they didn't call, Keldon Johnson got jackhammered and they called it a clean block.... my oh my. Different players, same story from my childhood. Oh and not to get political but same prototype of jezebel governor from that era. lol. Sure I love that state with all my heart, but that city is mostly a dump and most Michiganders would trade the city proper to Ontario for a chili dog in a NY minute. I know Timvp and ST had a heart for the Pistons after 04 and 05, I appreciate them for 04 but I really have never respected that franchise or their fans.

The only reason we won tonight is Vassell and Champ's hot outside shooting and the defense was above average. The core really wasn't good on offense but the team still won against the team with the best record in the league, in the palace, that's saying something.

In the end, the Pistons best player had foul problems while none of the Spurs had these issues. Was it square? Probably not, but it was not totally lopsided either for being in Detroit.

Both teams shot 19 FTs, and Castle positively bullied Cade. I’m sure Pistons fans have a similar thread in whatever forum they have,

This thread is just homerism. They let the boys play. Detroit got a little chippy (which is what they do) and we held our composure (which is what we do) while both teams played a physical brand of basketball. I maybe saw a few cases of home cooking but that is to be expected when Wemby was flailing his arms looking for calls early.

A taste of the finals. It's always physical, and I doubt there's that much unfairness. The Pistons play very physically because they know that on the ground is the only place they can hope to beat the condor Wemby. Victor got his revenge in the air.

Best of all, we didn't see the Spurs complain too much about the refereeing. Mistakes or not, these referees will appreciate not having to referee whiners next games. Because we can be sure that they call whiners differently.

Bad referees? Be dignified, you're a champion, win anyway.
