If ATL somehow wins the next 4 games (meaning a 7 game win streak) before the deadline, I’d consider putting this year’s pick on the table

Finding their groove again Hawks.... :st-bang:
Was only a matter of time once Trae left tbh. Atlanta is destined to always make the play-in, it's in their DNA.
Everyone needs to get real cozy with the idea of this pick being 12-16ish range. It's not going to save us, and we need to find other ways to plug our holes

No choice but to root for the Rockets tonight to break Hawks momentum and ruin their new-found mojo, tbh.. A win-win situation but the urgency is more on the anti-Atlanta wagon..

I disagree.
Hawks will be in the play-in, regardless.
We need every advantage we can get over the Rockets.

Man there’s a lot of moving parts in the next week. I totally agree with keeping the door open to letting go of the Hawks pick and making a strong move. I think we could win it all THIS year. Grabbing a player that fits the timeline/culture/positional need is pretty tempting. I’m still high from the Rockets win, but, I don’t know who beats us when we play like we did in the 2nd half. Other than us, of course. Aldama and/or TMIII are championship pieces in my mind. Trey has a podcast, I think. I bet he’d rather be winning than podcasting in NO. Spurs typically send a few diversionary missiles and smokescreens so who knows what they do.

If Hawks win tonight, I'm one step closer to saying ship off that pick for Santi
Not sure I’m there, but I am more open to moving the 27FRP. I think ATL will land an impact rookie and overachieve next season.

All the draft nerds are going nuts for this class, and apparently 2027 is already being panned as meh.

Well at least the loss today helps CHA hold pressure on ATL

Charlotte I think will pass Atl. I would like to see Chicago pass them as well but a lot will depend on if they do any trades and if they would tank.

ATL has as many or more losses as anyone in that group of 4 at the end of the lottery. That group does not include Charlotte, and both they and the LAC are 8-2 in their last 10.

Pacers beat the Hawks quite unexpectedly :st-tu: at Miami next, hopefully another L that all but ensures Atlanta's ceiling is 9th in the East standings.
