This draft is maybe the last one to have a shot at replacing Giannis for the next decade. They'd be stupid to waste that chance.

I don't care what they say officially, they're tanking imho and waiting for a desperate contender to make a move.

Our path to a surefire lottery pick is for Giannis to come back soon and not get traded with Bucks going on a decent run..

Hawks are a Jalen Johnson's calf strain away from a precipitous freefall; they're actually going through one but it'll get uglier with the coming schedule ..

The Trae market is so depressed and banking on Porzingis' health was too risky of a gamble. Dyson Daniels looking like Sochan on a $100M deal and Risacher 'bust'-ing. They really got somewhat bailed out of this mess by Joe Dumars . Agree with @Mugen above, if no moves are made, Quin Snyder will take the fall. He is a previous regime hire. That's just how it works in this league. Still think he's a good coach, but you can't miss the playoffs for 3 straight seasons in The East. Even he would admit he's done an underwhelming job there so far.

I’m sure ATL would love that. Not sure it makes a ton of sense for DAL. In short, I think today even Devin Vassell has more trade value that Trae Young. ATL mismanaged this badly.

Not saying it's going to happen, but desperation oftenmakes teams do stupid things. They just hired a new GM a few months ago too so he may want to make a splash move to try and turn it around. Who knows.

I hope, we don't want OKC to have another high pick. Next year Holmgrem and Williams big contracts are starting and will have to decide what to do with Dort and Hartenstein.

Obviously I'm not neutral observer, but i wouldn't be too desperate for AD if i were Atlanta since i have the Pelicans pick that will mitigate a potential lost season. AD hasn't played 6 straight games for the Mavs and he's out again with a groin issue. Dallas are trying to be too clever saying he'll miss several games (you are either day-to-day or missing week(s))...A splash for Giannis makes more sense at this point since it will likely get Trae out in the same move.

Yea I'm not sure which picks they'd offer, but I imagine they'd be around those years and would be highly protected. Mavs might be able to get a better offer than that from the warriors or someone else, who knows.
