I didn't want to but I might start to believe lmao

We nned CHA and MIL to be decent
Hornets are more likely to fall off. Kon Knueppel just suffered a gnarly rolled ankle today. He's likely going to miss some time unfortunately.

Heat were a completely different team in the 4th than the previous 3 Quarters. They finally showed up and put the game on ice.

Fuck, they were my best hope

MIL suck way too much, I think they're going for the tank hard and forget about the rest smh

If ATL doesn't finish below the 10th place, the chances are ridiculously low iircc, aren't they?

(12th-14th like last summer?)

I don't see them tanking if they keep Giannis
This draft is maybe the last one to have a shot at replacing Giannis for the next decade. They'd be stupid to waste that chance.

I don't care what they say officially, they're tanking imho and waiting for a desperate contender to make a move.

IIRCC The Knicks for ex can't move Bridges before a certain date bc they extended him last summer.

Giannis is leaving 100% it's just a matter of time

Let's not forget to thank the Rockettes who'd be title favorite today had they drafted Castle instead of Sheppard
Maybe. I understand why they passed though tbh. They desperately needed shooting and they had just drafted a SG who couldn't shoot the year prior in Amen. Steph had serious questions regarding his jump-shot coming into the league (which is why he was available at 4). Hindsight is always 2020 tbh. Either way, just glad he fell into our laps.

Yeah we need something extraordinary to happen for ATL to go below 10th, like Jalen out for the season (not wishing that)

Let's not be greedy, I'm sure we can find a nice PF to develop around the 13th

Oh I agree, and FVV was perfect and they thought Amen could become a PG (lmao)

Still, I love how pissed they are today at missing him

Because MIL is just as inept as any other stupid FO in this league. the don't have full control of their pick either. If it finished above NOP's pick after the lotto, it goes to ATL and MIL gets NOP instead.

This doesn't take tanking completely off the table for MIL, but it does limit their tanking upside (though theoretically MIL and NOP could both get Top 4, giving ATL the best of the two and MIL the other).

I also forgot that in addition to getting that best of NOP/MIL pick, ATL also managed to defray the full brunt of the swap with us because they get to swap that pick with CLE. So as it stands right now, the Hawks would only drop from 13 to 17, while picking up #4 (pre-lotto odds). Sons of bitches!

We do get a pretty sweet jump from 28 to 13 though.

Who cares, the Hawks would have fucked up the Wemby pick tbh :st-lol:
