You do understand there is a level between starter, and third string, right? Third string almost never plays. It’s not a good roster spot for development.

It is one of those weird things where SA got a good deal for DJM, and maybe it would have been highway robbery if not for the fact that ATL had another sucker waiting in the wings that they could repeatedly exploit.

Imagine a con man (Don, we’ll call him) who figures out he can sell Fake Rolex’s he can get for $10 to this one guy (Jim, let’s call him) for $200 each…

He’s not playing over Wemby or Kornet when healthy. Third string is a shit place to develop from.

its much easier to get it right picking at 1, 4, and 2 than 19, 11, 12, 9, or in the 20s

I understand that, though there were also misses throughout the years from those picks. I also know that they were trying to swing for upside with the picks we had before Wemby. Now, that we have our foundational pieces, we can draft more towards fit or someone having a higher floor trying than going for a higher ceiling.

Would love that...But some scouts have him going in the lottery in the top 15.Doubt we draft in that range.Trying to find other players
who fit that role that we can draft.

Man... Kon is really good lol. literally everything he did in college has translated and has done so right away. the 3pt volume has been absurd. he's taking 9 threes per 36 this year (not counting today where he has gone 6-12 so far), whereas in college he was attempting about 7 per 40 minutes
